ShowFab built the first High Definition ready TV News Studio for MSNBC in 1996. It took a few years for the networks to make the transition to HD Broadcasting. MSNBC finally began telecasting in 1080i High Definition in June of 2009. In 2009 the average cost for a 42″ HD TV was $1,500. Ouch!
